My brain works best in the morning, on coffee!

I love taking my cup of coffee, sitting down, and creating! Major brain storming
takes place first thing in the A.M. for me.
I decided to use this cute fish stamp by Hampton Art to make
a birthday card and enter a few challenges.

Peaceful Saturday Morning.....

My hubby had to work today, end of month inventory. So when I came home from work, I headed to the cave and hibernated for a while. It was so relaxing and peaceful. I used one of my new Bugaboo Digital Stamps and created a Thank You Card.

Confessions of a Hoarder!

I have to confess, I'm a hoarder of craft supplies. You would never know this just
peeking into the cave! I'm OCD when it comes to being organized. So that makes me the
worst kind of hoarder! You ask what makes me a hoarder? That cute Jillibean-Soup Swim Suit
Stamp has been in my craft room for more than 2 years and today is the first time it's been used!
And the paper, I have another 5 - 12x12 sheets of it waiting to be used. Yes, it's been in there
just as long. And it doesn't stop there, I have Tim Holtz Distress Markers(full set) that I don't use either. Shhh, I'm not that crazy about them. I do love my distress ink pads and glitter.  I really should find someone near me to share with. Seriously, I can't buy more supplies when I have so much not being used and I really want to purchase some sequins, die-cuts, and new stamps. HELP!

The flip side is, cute note cards.  It's nice to send a snail mail Hello with a hand written note. I know a few Grandma's that will appreciate these.

Kylie Turns 2!

My great niece has her 2nd birthday coming up in August!
Boy oh boy, I'm getting old!
So I picked out a really cute digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps called Candles Set!
I just love those happy candles!

I used Copics to color the image, PaperTreyInk New Leaf cardstock, Carta Bella 6x6 Paper Pad - It's A Celebration,
Queen & Co. Twinkle Goosebumps Light Green.

Updating my digi stamp collection! Suggestions?

I forgot how much I love digi stamps! Yesterday I started at Bugaboo and purchased
several new digi stamps. They are having a really good sale going on right now!  My small collection needs to be updated! I'm undecided
on today's purchases. So if you have any suggestions please share!

I took the time to make a card for a couple of challenges using one
of my new digis!
colored with Copic Markers. I used papers from my stash
Jillibean-Soup Pasta Fagioli Collection and cork for leaf punch.
PaperTreyInk Baker's Twine!

Halloween, Already?

I do best to stay ahead of the game. So I'm starting early this year with Autumn, Halloween, and Christmas cards! The past two years came and went without a single card sent. I refuse to let another pass by. So I guess you could say I'm making up for lost time, too! Yes, I was extremely busy with life. This year I'm not letting all the joy of the seasons slip between my fingers. I love Halloween, everything about it. So I have three cards to share today.

My brain is in overdrive with spooktacular decorating ideas! Are you ready for Autumn and Halloween?

First Pop Up Box Card

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are having a great day. I've been in my craft room
a good part of the day. I decided to try my hand at a pop up box card for the first time.
This week is the first week that I've actually spent any real time in the cave. It feels so great
being back in this environment. Relaxing!

This was a lot of fun!
I used papers from the Martha Stewart Modern Festive Paper Pad!
I found it at AC Moore a few weeks ago marked down to $6.80!
I found the Jolee's Cupcake Stickers clearanced in store to $.97
at JoAnn's. I used Avery Elle's Simply Tags Love Notes Die to create
a gift card holder and attached it to the back panel of the card.

Crafty Girls Challenge #22 Anything Goes

The time has come....

to start crafting again! I've been busy in my craft room the past two days making Halloween cards. I will be posting those in a bit. After losing my sweet baby girl the beginning of the year I just couldn't step back in my room. So I decided to move my craft room into a new room in the hopes of making new memories and letting some of the sadness go. It was the best thing I did. I've been busy making  cards the past two days and it feels right again. I do plan on joining in some challenges soon, very excited about that!
In my absence things have changed! I went out yesterday to 4 big box stores to find 2 of them don't carry Spellbinders anymore. All 4 of them have noticeably reduced their papercrafting sections! I also read that Two Peas in a Bucket closed! This is so very sad! Some of the challenge blogs I use to join are no longer up and running either. Suggestions are always welcome for your favorite challenge blogs and online stores. I'm off to finish laundry and then crafting.
