Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #75

Seize the sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch
Challenge Blog today! I had a lot of fun with this
sketch. I made two Birthday cards using it
and found it so easy to work with.

So I've had this stamp set since the beginning by Hero Arts ~
Birthday Wishes. I loved this stamp set when I bought it and still
love it to this day! The paper is from the Colorbok Heidi Grace
12x18 Paper Pad ~ Birthday.  I finished it off with Queen & Co.
Ombre Enamel Dots ~ Yellow

Another birthday card using
Colorbok Heidi Grace 12x18 Paper Pad ~ Birthday
and cutout from the same pad stamped with sentiment
from Hero Arts ~ Birthday Wishes, finished off with enamel dots.
Sentiment inside:
Happy Birthday!

So Many Ways To Say Hello......

With one stamp set!
I'm falling in love with Hero Arts Stamps.
I picked up "Just Saying Hi" the other day.
And let me tell you, it is some kind of awesome.
I mean the telephones can be used for anybody.
And the sentiments are timeless. Anyway, I decided I would
play with them today.  And this is what I created.

So easy, too. I simply stamped a full 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock
and then cut it. There are so many other things you could do with this stamp
set. I know I will be posting more on it. I see pink phones in my near future.

It's A Special Occasion ~ Simply Create Too Challenge #71

I find this challenge theme very befitting, It's A Special Occasion.
Today is my first post with Simply Create Too Challenge Blog
I'm so excited to be a part of this great Design Team.
So see...It's a Special Occasion!

I hope you are inspired by my creations for the
challenge and that you pop over to
and check out the inspiration there.

My first card could be used for several
different Special Occasions.
Wedding Shower, Wedding, and/or Anniversary.
I created this card using two different sets of
Spellbinders, Radiant Rectangles and Resplendent Rectangles.
The love was die-cut using  Momenta Die-Cut, and
I finished it off with Queen & Co. Pearls.
The cardstock is David Tutera Shimmer Cards and
Recollections Basic Black.
I was going through my embossing folders and came across these. It was like being struck by lightning. Immediately, I knew what had to be done. And I love the embossed message.
Love, Marriage, Together Forever.
This is another card that could be used for Wedding or Anniversary.
For this card I used Sizzix Textured Embossing Folders ~ Wedding Pk #2, Kaisercraft After Five ~ Champagne, basic cream cardstock.

CAS Belated Birthday Card

Hello everyone! Have you ever had a day that just seems
to never end? I'm having one of those today. Usually when
I'm really tired I have these days. Anyway, I knew if I
created something time would fly by like it always
does. So I put together a Happy Belated Birthday
card. Hope you enjoy.

Clear It Out Challenge #46 ~ It's a Glossy Birthday

It's time for another great challenge over at
This week's challenge is to use something glossy from
your stash. Now I have to say this was tough for me.
I'm a hoarder of paper not embellishments.
So I don't have much that is glossy but I managed.
We are also featuring Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet
this week.
 You should check them out!
Lots of amazing designs by lots of amazing designers!

So for my first card I used Floppy Latte's ~ Jack in the Box
 image colored with Copics.
I used Me&My Big Ideas 12x12 Paper Pad Bonnie Bell ~ Snails
from my stash. The card base is a 12x12 transparency(something glossy)
from this paper pad. I used Sizzix Stars #2 Bigz Die-cut and
cut stars from different colors, from the same 12x12 paper pad.
I cut stars from the remaining transparency to cover the big stars
and laid two directly on the image.
The banners are stamped and cut using PTI Banner Die.

My second card is using  Floppy Latte's ~ Darling Daisies.

Floppy Latte ~ Darling Daisies colored with Copics.
I used Kraft paper for the base, colored PTI Linen Vellum with Copic BG11,
layered PTI Dark Chocolate with MME's Lost & Found Two ~ Sunshine rectangles
cut with Spellbinders Classic Rectangles. Stamped the sentiment on PTI Vellum, added PTI
chocolate twine with Jillibean Soup Cool Beans Epoxy Buttons(something glossy).
I took close ups of the buttons so you can see they are glossy.
I didn't want anyone straining their eyes trying to read the sentiment
so I did a close up of it, too.
Inside reads: Wishing you a Birthday filled with love and kindness.
Happy Birthday!

Okay, we're going to have a talk about
my hoarding again. I know, we've talked about
this before. I have made a little progress, I must say.
I've been hoarding this blinged out owl for three years.
It's time to let it go!

stickers, and twine from my stash.

Stella Says Sketch and Halloween

As if I don't have enough Halloween cards made, so make another one!
In my opinion you can never have too many Halloween cards, right?
I knew you would agree with me.
Besides, it gave me a great excuse to use up more of my stash and
I used the spider from the Mini Set - Halloween Blocks.
I'm trying so hard to use up my Halloween
stash this year but I don't see it happening.
And I gave some away to the lady down the street
and through a paper exchange.

So I'm entering this into:
