Sketch #86 was a lot fun to work with.
I scored the image area to open up and
use the sentiment to hold it closed.
I added a little easel on the back so
the card will sit up. I stamped an sentiment inside, too.
See below.
The paper collection is Echo Park Paper Co.

Blue Snowflakes and Clear It Out Challenge #57

This week it's a color challenge over at Clear It Out Challenge.
And you guessed right! BLUE is the color but that's not all. We want you
to use ribbon and/or twine from your stash of goodies!

I made a card using this cutie, Alannah, from StampArt! She
is so cute and she comes with a bonus file!
I used AC Jack Frost 6x6 Paper Pad, Navy Cardstock for base, AC Ribbon,
PTI Twine, colored the image with COPICS, added a tiny bit of stickles
to the snow on fence railing, added white enamel dots, and finished it off with
Wink of Stella over a few areas.

I can't believe we have 17 days until Christmas!
Who else is excited but sad at the same time?
I adore Christmas and everything it represents
but I must confess that I do get a little blue
afterwards. Okay, enough chatter.
It's Monday and you know what that means....

It's a great one, too!

I made another Christmas card using The Greeting Farm
Clear Stamp Set Christmas, Queen and Co. Pearls, DCWV
Candy Cane Lane Stack, colored the stars with COPIC R29, inked
the edges of my die cut with Tim Holtz Antique Linen,
and stamped sentiment from Recollection Stamp Set.

Happy Birthday and Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Today is my DH birthday!
Happy Birthday, A! Love you!

I probably should be posting a birthday card for this
challenge but I'm not! Instead I made a Christmas card.
I have to say I am a true red, white and green
Christmas girl through and through but this black, white and red
combination is very pretty, too.

The paper pad I used is DCWV Candy Cane Lane.
The stamps are from the $1 bin at Michaels, the twine is
from Walmart, button is from my stash.

Here's the sketch for the week! I love it.
