New Monthly Card Kit and Some Me Time

Good Morning to all my crafty friends! I hope this post finds you
HAPPY AND HEALTHY!

Yesterday I finally made time to use my goodies from the Simon Says Stamp
June Card Kit and I'm in love! First, let me say this....I've never subscribed to a monthly kit of any kind. I decided last month, after 2 weeks of pros and cons, I would try it. I'm not disappointed, in fact, I asked myself several times yesterday....."Why didn't you do this sooner?".
If you're wondering why Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit, all I can tell you is I really like their stamps and that was the deciding factor for me. I'm not saying it's for everyone maybe stamping isn't your thing. I suggest finding a monthly kit that first is affordable and second has all the elements you love!

So far I've made four cards using this kit and have plenty more to go.
The papers are Doodlebug "Sunkissed" included in the kit.

Feel free to tell me all your thoughts on Monthly Kits in the comments below. If you have a favorite please share.

Here's a list of supplies I used with links.

  1. That is such a wonderful collection of cards! So bright and cheerful! It would be sure to put a smile on anyone's face. I have never subscribed to a monthly kit either. I am the kind of person who buys things if and only if it is on sale :) It really helps me justify buying it if I can get it for cheap LOL!

  2. Thanks! I am usually the same way about buying something on sale only. I actually sat down and talked to my DH about the monthly card kit and we both agreed for the price and what you get it was a really good deal. He pointed out that if you buy the stamps, die and pay shipping you paid for the kit. Who am I to argue? teehee I've found one problem so far.... waiting for the sneak peak of the coming months release!

Do You Know Pet Parents?

Hi and welcome, everyone. Today I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog sharing a few ways to present Pet gifts. I think often times we forget that some people consider their pets to be their children, especially, couples who can't have children. And how sad is it that we don't acknowledge their fur babies. I was one of those people, and I say let's give "Pet Parents" and their babies some love, too! So here are a few ideas next time you want to give a Pet gift.
With just a few SVG Attic Files you will be passing out these cute Pet gifts yourself.
I created the Fire Hydrant Treat Box using the JGW Little Fire Chief Kit, the gift card holder using the SVGA Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes, and the card using the paw print from SVGA Jack's Tracks. One of the best things about all the Kits listed, they can be used for multiple projects. The Little Fire Chief Kit makes for an awesome birthday party or load that fire hydrant up with homemade cookies for your local fir…
