Look I Made A Hat with SVG Attic

Hi, everyone! Today I'm sharing a great way to use the JGW Mourner's Hat from the JGW Raven Quest Collection for Spring/Summer. I love this hat because you can use it for anything. Seriously,
I've used it for Spring, Summer, and Christmas. Maybe I should use it for Halloween sometime.
This time, I made it for my Mom, she loves the hat too. She requested it be yellow with gray and go from Easter/Spring to Summer.

This is a picture of JGW Raven's Quest Mourner's Hat made for Spring/Summer with yellows and grays.

So I used yellow cardstock to create the hat and a warm gray patterned paper for
trim, bow, and feather. The flowers, leaves, and moss are from my craft stash.

You find all the details on my blog, In The Crafting Cave with Lisa.

The eggs are removable.
Wood Skewers are a must In The Crafting Cave. They save your fingers from hot glue. I used one cut into thirds glued to the back of the Easter Eggs so they can be removed after Easter easily.
You can find them at Walmart and other big box stores.
As always, thanks for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!

I'm entering this into the following:
Silhouette Challenge #35 - Anything Goes

  1. This is such a fun and bright take on the Mourner's hat! I love seeing what you come up with each time you use that file. I know your mom is going to love it too!

  2. What a fun hat it's so bright and bold with all that yellow love it. Hugs Nikki

  3. You have made such wonderful Easter projects! So many fun details!
Thanks for sharing with us at Silhouette Challenges March Showcase!

Do You Know Pet Parents?

Hi and welcome, everyone. Today I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog sharing a few ways to present Pet gifts. I think often times we forget that some people consider their pets to be their children, especially, couples who can't have children. And how sad is it that we don't acknowledge their fur babies. I was one of those people, and I say let's give "Pet Parents" and their babies some love, too! So here are a few ideas next time you want to give a Pet gift.
With just a few SVG Attic Files you will be passing out these cute Pet gifts yourself.
I created the Fire Hydrant Treat Box using the JGW Little Fire Chief Kit, the gift card holder using the SVGA Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes, and the card using the paw print from SVGA Jack's Tracks. One of the best things about all the Kits listed, they can be used for multiple projects. The Little Fire Chief Kit makes for an awesome birthday party or load that fire hydrant up with homemade cookies for your local fir…
