You're Out Of This World!

Hi, everyone and welcome. Today I'm over on the Victorine Originals Blog to showcase a few Victorine Originals Stamps. I have to tell y'all I'm in love with the Saturn and Aliens In Spaceship stamps. I love the very whimsical feel and they're not too big making them a perfect pair along with the sentiment, You're Out Of This World

Next time I'll add a little color to the images but for now, I wanted them as is.

To create this card I used a stamping tool, any stamping tool will work, Tim Holtz, Misti, Stampoholic, you decide! I DO NOT have a preference, in fact, I own several different ones.

Okay, so position your stamps on your stamping tool and stamp them using Memento Ink Espresso Truffle, using the star stencil, distress oxides, and daubers randomly add stars around your stamped images. Finish off with enamel dots. Layer patterned paper onto cardstock, add fun foam to the back of stamped panel and layer onto patterned paper.

As always, thanks for joining us here at the Victorine Originals Blog.

Have A Sunshiny Day

Happy Friday, everyone! Today I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog sharing two great ideas for summer gift giving. Using two pieces from the JGW Fathoms Deep Kit and CG Under the Sea Kit I created a gift box and card.

Recently, I was in one of the local big box stores and found several paper kits marked down and I couldn't resist. Several of the kits are Summer themed, like this one I used by Authentique - Seafarer. It's nice to have new inspiration.
The top of the box is the center of Seafarer Eleven paper and if that's not a sign I don't know what is. It's the exact size of the accent layer for the box. I cut the top accent layer and cut the side accents using the same paper. I love this paper with this box and card. I used coordinating papers from the same kit to create the card. The sentiment banner is from the kit, too.

Look at the details on the sides of the lid, gorgeous!

You're So Cool!

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper here with you today and I'm sharing a bright, summery card featuring the Double Take Ice Cream Stamps. I love the sketchy feel of this stamp and how you can use them separately or together.

You can stack the ice creams on top of each other, too. Super cute. For this card, I first stamped the ice cream on scrap paper and cut out for masking. I randomly stamped the ice creams in pink, orange, green, and yellow masking them and then stamping the cone. To fill in some of the white space I randomly stamped the ice creams and then used a dot from the Dots Set to add a few dots. Die-cut and adhere to a patterned paper, I'm using my Perfectly Plaid paper here. Finish off with sentiment and a few enamel dots.

As always, thanks for joining me.

Dots Stamp Set, A Must Have

Hi, everyone and welcome. Today I'm featuring the Victorine Originals Dots Stamp Set and sharing all the cards I've created with it, so far. I love this set because the possibilities are endless, as you will see it's perfect for creating backgrounds, use it as the focal point of your card, it offers two great sentiments, and three of the dots have the words Happy, Joy, Love.
Dots Set (Unmounted Only) (10599-X)
Here I used the dots to create a fun background.
Here I used the dots and Happy Birthday sentiment as the focal point of my card.
Adding Red and Blue dots to the tags gave them a fun festive feel for my 4th of July goodies.

Using the sentiment as my focal point and stamping the dots with VersaMark ink for a tone on tone background.

I created a fun background for my nautical themed card just by using the large stripe and changing ink colors.

This next card is my absolute favorite. I love this technique of adding ink to the stamps in a swiping motion, it really changes things. I have a video tutorial on my blog, The Relativity of Paper.

As you can see the possibilities truly are endless with this amazing stamp set making this a must have in my book.

Ahoy, Landlubbers!

Hi, everyone and welcome! Today I'm sharing my inspiration for the Inspiration Board Challenge over at Victorine Originals.
Using the colors of the board I created a striped nautical themed card. This is such an easy card to create using a stamping tool, Memento inks (Nautical Blue, Pear Tart), SSS Audrey Blue, and the stripe from the Victorine Originals Dots Set! If you follow along you've probably seen me use this stamp set on several different cards. It's definitely a great set to add to your stamp collection.
After stamping the stripes, I layered it onto patterned paper and added a few stickers from the EP Pirate's Life Kit.

Now it's your turn to show us your take on the Victorine Originals Inspiration Board.
I can't wait to see what you create today!

Worlds Best Dad

Happy Friday everyone and welcome. I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog today sharing a quick and simple gift card box. Wednesday was my Dad's birthday and I needed a quick gift card box that would hold not only a gift card but a few miniature Snickers underneath. Of course, JGW GONE FISHING KIT from SVG Attic has a great gift card box included. It was the perfect size for my gift card and eight miniature Snickers fit perfectly under the insert.

To create this box I used my Silhouette Cameo and Photoplay's Family Ties. This box and those papers were meant to meet! That's all I can say. I didn't add the accent pieces to the sides of the box top because the paper is wood grain and I love the way it looked. I did add the top accent piece using fun foam to add some dimension, wrapping the twine around the top accent and then adhering it to the box lid.

As always, thanks for joining us!

Multi-Color Stamping with Video Tutorial

Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I'm sharing a multi-color stamping technique featuring the Victorine Originals Map Background Stamp.  I know not many of us think about using Map Stamps for feminine cards but I say why not?  By adding a little pink and using a more feminine matting it can be done.

The second card has a more masculine feel to it but it uses the same stamping technique. I just left off the pink and changed the sentiment.

I hope you'll give this stamping technique a try and let me know how you like it.
Here's a video tutorial to walk you through the whole process.
